Position Overview
As an Electrician represented by Amplify People, you’ll gain access to a variety of roles with trusted residential and commercial service providers. We work with companies that are installing everything from full-panel systems and lighting control to integrated smart homes and new construction wiring. This evergreen listing is open to professionals at all levels, including licensed electricians, apprentices, and those transitioning from low-voltage to line-voltage work.
Responsibilities May Include
- Rough-in and trim-out of electrical systems for residential or light commercial projects
- Service upgrades, panel installs, and breaker replacements
- Installation of smart lighting, control systems, and integrated technology
- Troubleshooting and repair of electrical issues
- Ensuring work meets NEC and local code standards
- Collaborating with AV teams, builders, or project managers onsite
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional jobsite
Qualifications
- Varies by role—we welcome licensed journeymen, apprentices, and techs transitioning into electrical work
- Familiarity with residential construction and electrical best practices
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Comfort working with tools, ladders, and occasionally in tight spaces
- State or local licensure (if applicable) is a plus
