Position Overview
As an AV Technician represented by Amplify People, you’ll have access to a range of roles across the AV industry—from new construction rough-ins to high-end custom installations. We work with integrators who are looking for everything from entry-level installers to senior field technicians who can run a jobsite. Responsibilities May Include
- Pre-wiring and rough-in installation for AV, networking, security, or home automation systems
- Trim-out and final install of devices, speakers, TVs, racks, and structured wiring
- Reading and interpreting construction plans, schematics, and scope documents
- Programming basic control systems, remotes, and user interfaces (e.g., Control4, URC, RTI, Savant, etc.)
- Working with team leads or PMs to ensure project timelines are met
- Troubleshooting and system testing to ensure quality installation
- Delivering an exceptional client experience onsite
Qualifications
- Experience levels vary—we work with entry-level talent through senior techs
- Willingness to learn, grow, and be part of a professional team
- Passion for the AV, technology, or construction trades
- Comfort with hand tools, power tools, and ladder work
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
